Job Summary: Our client is a specialized valuation firm with a strong focus on 409A and complex securities valuations, including Monte Carlo simulations, binomial models, and Black-Scholes methodologies. The team values individuals who are not only technically capable, but also collaborative, proactive, and eager to learn. While the role is remote, communication is frequent and team-oriented, with regular check-ins, team conversations, and opportunities to engage in conferences and team gatherings. Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth research on the financial performance
• Perform market and industry research to identify local and macroeconomic factors influencing value.
• Build and apply valuation models (Monte-Carlo, Black-Scholes) using various approaches to assess fair value.
• Calculate and analyze company shares using financial metrics
• Identify and evaluate investment risks
• Review financial statements and qualitative data to uncover under-performing assets and operational inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and industry specialists to gather insights and validate assumptions
Requirements:
• Strong research and analytical skills to evaluate financial statements, market trends, and economic conditions.
• Proficiency in building financial models and forecasts to assess business performance and value.
• Experience preparing detailed valuation reports, including methodologies, assumptions, and conclusions.
• Ability to clearly communicate valuation findings
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
• Up-to-date understanding of industry trends, valuation techniques, and best practices.
• Familiarity with various types of valuations, including:
• Business valuations for M&A, tax, and financial reporting
• Asset valuations (e.g., equipment, IP)
• Financial instrument valuations (e.g., derivatives, options)
Compensation:
Base Range: $85,000 to $95,000
OTE: $125,000 to $170,000
